It depends on where you live. Normally I ship next-day. If you live in the U.S. it will probably take between 2 to 9 days. Outside the U.S. it varies, and can be up to 14 days.

Opening day of Cars Land and Buena Vista Street at Disney’s California Adventure.
My mom and I got there about an hour before the park opened, the line curved through half of Downtown Disney, it was insane. But we got into the park fine and rushed over to Bug’s Land, because there was a second set of Fast Pass Distributing machines there for Radiator Springs Racers.
We didn’t get any fast passes, by 9:15 (that’s fifteen minutes after the park opened!) they were out of fast passes. Oh well!
I wasn’t to worried about going on any of the rides, I really just wanted to look around. Cars Land was packed, so it was pretty hard to get any good pictures.

Eventually we wandered Buena Vista Street, watched Five & Dime, and the Newsboys (<3). And most importantly, I got a picture with the new statue of Walt and Mickey, “Storytellers”. I’m in love with this statue, it’s just perfect.

Also, check out my Minnie Mouse inspired look, you can’t see the jewelry, but it all goes with the outfit, and I used my favorite yellow purse to represent her yellow heels. I would’ve been wearing glittery shorts, but the weather disagreed.
Lunch at Flo’s V8 Cafe.

It was so good, except the messed up and gave us two kinds of gravy instead of one. But still delicious.
And of course we had to try a pie, we got the chocolate.

It was deliciously gooey in the middle, I highly recommend it.
Then we headed over to the Animation building by Tower of Terror, where they were selling all the Grand Opening merchandise, we waited in line for about an hour just to get some limited edition pins. (So worth it!)
Then we headed on over to Disneyland. We saw the Mountain Climbers scaling the Matterhorn, and then headed over to the Brave Meet-n-Greet. We found out our clans (Clan Dingwall!) and of course, met Merida.

And then tried archery. I failed. My first arrow didn’t even leave the bow, it just sort of fell, but I nailed it the second try.

Finally we headed back over to DCA and decided, “It’s the grand opening, who cares how long the line is, let’s do it!” and got in line for Radiator Springs Racers. The wait was marked at 4 hours, which wasn’t even the high for the day. We got in line anyway, and ended up having a great time talking to the family in line behind us. They were super nice.

We waited 3 and 1/2 hours, and I’m so glad we did. The ride is wonderful, and I can’t wait to go again!
We ended the day with a banana split from Ghirardelli’s and a quick stop off at the Hollywood Pictures Backlot to check out the Mad T Party, where I quickly fell madly in love with the Hatter. Then we headed home.
All in all, a pretty fantastic day. I can’t wait to go back, and I look forward to being able to tell my children, “I was there for the grand opening of this!”.
So I can wake up early
for the opening of Cars Land and Buena Vista Street.

I know it’s going to be super-crazy crowded.
But I just want to be able to say “I was there”. Ya know? And get one of the special grand opening pins for my collection.
:)
We got the new puppy and I can’t take my eyes off him for a minute. Because as soon as I’m not looking, bad things happen.
And then we went, “he needs a friend”.
So today we brought home Dudley.
But I’ll still be going to opening day of Cars Land and Buena Vista street. :) My outfit will be either Peter Pan or Minnie Mouse inspired.
I’m leaning towards Minnie, just so I can wear my ears.
I’m pretty excited for it. Just need to decide on an outfit.

Just updated my Etsy shop with some cool new merch. From my classic hand-stamped bracelets to cool new stuff including keychains and compact mirrors!

And for those of you still mourning the loss of Disneyland’s ElecTRONica, something special! Necklaces made from my remaining ElecTRONica tokens!
